The LG-658 Universal Fit Laser Glasses are designed to protect against visible-light laser systems operating in the yellow and red spectrum—a range used in dermatological lasers, vascular treatments, and phototherapy.

Optical Density (OD) measures how effectively eyewear blocks laser energy. An OD 5+ rating means only one-hundred-thousandth of the laser energy passes through the lens, while OD 6+ further increases protection to one-millionth transmission. The LG-658 glasses combine these ratings across multiple bands—580–595 nm, 645–670 nm, and 660–665 nm—to provide comprehensive coverage.

Certified to Australian and international standards including AS/NZS IEC 60825.14:2014 and EN 207/208, these glasses ensure regulatory compliance and user safety in laboratories, hospitals, and industrial environments.

With a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 12%, users maintain adequate visibility while shielding the eyes from hazardous laser light. The robust design, fit-over compatibility, and full safety labelling make them a reliable choice for controlled environments where 585–650 nm lasers are in use.
